Tomato Casserole 4 (1 lb.) cans sliced stewed tomatoes 1-1/2 c. brown sugar Salt 8 slices bread, diced 1 c. butter, melted Parmesan cheese Dry bread crumbs Simmer tomatoes, brown sugar and salt until thick, about 30 minutes. Line the bottom of a 3 quart casserole with bread cubes. Pour melted butter on top, then the tomato mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. During the last 15 minutes, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and dry bread crumbs.
