Asparagus Chicken Noodle Casserole 1 chicken 4 c. dried noodles, flat or lg. egg noodles 2 cans asparagus or 1 1/2 to 2 lb. asparagus, cooked 1/2 lb. American cheese 1 can mushroom soup 1 can celery soup 1 soup can chicken stock (from cooking chicken), add water to make 1 can if needed Cook chicken in very little water. Season and cover. Put uncooked noodles in well greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Add chicken, boned and cut in small pieces. Top with asparagus. Melt cheese with chicken broth and cans of soup. Pour over top. Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 350 degrees.
