Layered Supper Casserole
6 c. potatoes, thinly sliced
2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. chopped onion
2 c. sliced carrots
1 1/2-2 lb. ground beef or ground chuck
15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 c. shredded cheese
Place potatoes in buttered casserole dish season with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4
teaspoon black pepper, sprinkled on top. Mix corn, pepper and pour on top
potatoes. Put onions and then carrots, crumble ground beef over vegetables.
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper on top. Top with tomato
sauce. Bake in covered casserole dish at 350 degrees for 2 hours. When done
uncover and sprinkle with cheese.
