Hamburger Noodle Casserole
4 ounce egg noodles
3/4 cup chopped onions
1 pound ground beef
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup catsup
Dash of pepper & salt
2 ounce can bits & pieces mushrooms
1 1/3 cups
buttermilk*
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Cook noodles and drain. Combine onions and beef; heat, stirring constantly until
browned. Remove from heat, stir in flour, pepper, salt. Add catsup,
Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms and buttermilk. Mix well and turn into noodles.
Put in casserole dish. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Add grated cheese
last 5 minutes of cooking.
Makes 8 servings.

Powdered buttermilk does not have to be mixed
separately. I just add the powder with my flour and the water with the my other
liquids and let it mix in the batter.
