Chili
1 lb. hamburger
1 (16 oz.) can Mexican chili beans
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. chili powder (or to taste)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 sm. onion, chopped
Brown hamburger and onion. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add
beans, tomatoes, brown sugar and chili powder. Let simmer slowly for about 15 minutes. For
additional flavor or body, tomato juice, water or a small amount of Picante sauce may be
added. NOTE: Good chili for making with limited time.ver freshly cooked pasta.
