Good morning all:
With summer coming thought this pickle recipe was nice for
picnics or anytime. It is a TNT recipe. My husband calls
them "candy" and could eat the whole jar if I let him.
Sweet Sour Pickles
1 qt. Kosher dills (whole)
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
Combine sugar, water and vinegar and bring to a boil. Boil 2
minutes and let cool. Drain liquid from pickles and discard.
Slice pickles into chunks and put them back in jar. Pour
brine over pickles and seal. Turn jar upside down overnite.
Refrigerate the next day. These turn out extra crispy and
goooood.
