This is for Marvis in Texas that was
looking for a recipe for raisin sauce. I found this in my
old Betty Crocker Cookbook from 1969. Hope this is the right
one.
Raisin Sauce
3 Tablespoons cornstarch
2 cups apple cider
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup raisins
Measure cornstarch into small saucepan. Gradually stir in
apple cider. Add butter & raisins, cook over medium heat
stirring constantly until sauce thickens & boils. Boil &
stir one minute. Serve warm Makes about 2 & 1/2 cups. Serve
as a sauce with a baked ham dinner or use to top leftover
slices the next day.
