Wilted Lettuce Salad #2

4 slices bacon, diced
l/4 cup vinegar
2 bunches leaf lettuce, (I used iceberg) shredded
5 green onions with tops, chopped
2 teaspoons sugar
l/4 teaspoon salt
l/8 teaspoon pepper

Cook bacon in 12 inch skillet until crisp. Stir in vinegar, heat till hot, remove from heat. Add lettuce and onions. Sprinkle in sugar, salt and pepper. Toss for a few minutes until lettuce is wilted.
