Kool Aid Orange Sherbet
3 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 pkg. dry Kool Aid drink mix, orange
flavor (unsweetened type)
Combine ingredients in a saucepan and
cook, stirring constantly over low heat
til sugar dissolves. Mixture may look
mottled and have orange specks, but that
won't affect the finished product. Chill
in refrigerator for a couple of hours to
allow flavors to mingle. Pour into ice
cream maker and freeze til done. Any
unmixed orange specks will have
disappeared when sherbet is finished. I
have a Lello 1 quart ice cream maker and
it makes in 25 to 30 minutes.
