For Erma in Sullivan MO regarding a goulash recipe using
diced tomatoes.
Goulash Recipe
I cook up about 1-1/2 cups of elbow macaroni. Not sure how
many you want to make this for, so you can adjust. What I am
telling you about now could probably serve four with bread
and a salad. I saute a medium onion chopped with 1 pound of
ground beef. Combine your beef with onion, pasta and diced
tomatoes. My family always liked it. Have each one salt and
pepper to their liking. A little twist to this is to use
spaghetti sauce instead of the diced tomatoes. Mix a cup or
more of mozzarella cheese. We like cheese. Combine all,
place in a casserole and bake in 350 degree oven for 30
minutes or until heated through. My kids call this Italian
goulash. This is a simple recipe with no frills.
