Whole Wheat Chocolate Cranberry Cookies
In food processor pulse into powder
consistency:
1 1/4 cups oatmeal (not instant)
Add to above and pulse a few times to
blend:
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 tbs cocoa powder
Stir in to above and set aside:
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup dried cranberries
In a large bowl beat together:
1/2 cup butter, soft
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Stir in the dry ingredients in 3 batches
until just blended. Roll into golf size
balls.
Bake 350 oven about 15 minutes on a
greased baking sheet.
