This is for Fran, Upstate New York and
others looking for recipes for the Lent
season. This is a family favorite and I
make it often. Measurements don’t need
to be precise.

Crab Pasta Salad
1/2 cup Miracle Whip
1/4 cup Zesty Italian Dressing
2 Tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
8 oz corkscrew type pasta, cooked,
rinsed, and drained
1 1/2 cups (8oz) imitation crab meat,
cut into small chunks
1 cup broccoli flowerets
1 chopped green, red, or yellow pepper
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1/2 cups chopped celery
1 cup cherry tomatoes
1 cup thawed frozen green peas
Combine Miracle Whip, Italian dressing,
and cheese. Add the rest of the
ingredients and toss to mix. Cover and
refrigerate for 2 hours. I use Low fat
Miracle Whip and Italian dressing, but
you can use regular products. I
sometimes ad grated carrots and other
fresh vegetables that we have on hand.
