Cherry Delight
1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup butter, softened
Mix cracker crumbs and butter together
well. Press into bottom of a 9 x 13 inch
dish. Set aside.
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Whip ingredients together; set aside.
1 container (12 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
1/2 cup powdered sugar Use wire whip to
mix Cool Whip and powdered sugar
together and then whip in the cream
cheese mixture. Put over graham cracker
layer; spread gently and evenly. Top
with 1 can cherry pie filling.
Note: I use 1 large can (is bigger than
the 21 oz. can, but not sure of the
exact ounces? I also add about 1/4 tsp.
almond extract to the pie
filling. Refrigerate for several hours
before serving. Beware! this is
addictive!
