This is for Trish in Fl, who in the 9/22/09 newsletter asked for bar
cookie recipes that ship well. I have sent these to my adopted
soldiers on numerous occasions with good success during the cold
months. They advise not to send anything with chocolate during May ?
September. I do wrap each bar in plastic wrap, and then put all in a
zip lock bag.

Combine above ingredients and pat into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350
degrees for 10 minutes
In saucepan melt
2/3 cup peanut butter
6 ounces chocolate chips

Spread over mixture in pan. Sprinkle 1 cup peanuts over top. I
lightly press thee peanuts in to the chocolate ? butterscotch
