As for the can of chili beans, you can use ranch beans instead. Or would this be
what you are looking for?
Homemade Chili Beans
2 c. dry red kidney beans, soaked in 5 c. water several hours
1 lb. hamburger, saut?d
1 sm. onion, chopped fine
2 c. tomato sauce
2 cloves fresh garlic, crushed
2 to 3 tbsp. chili powder
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
Cook beans in the water until tender for about 1 hour. Add all other ingredients
and cook 1 more hour. Serve with corn muffins.
