Christmas Cheese Balls
Serves 16
Two 8-oz packages cream cheese, softened
1 c shredded mild or sharp Cheddar cheese
2 Tbs diced pimiento, drained
2 Tbs finely chopped green onions (white and green parts)
1 Tbs finely chopped green bell pepper
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
One eighth tsp garlic salt
1 tsp lemon juice
One fourth tsp cayenne pepper
1 c chopped pecans
Crackers
Combine the cream cheese, Cheddar, pimiento, green onions,
bell pepper, Worcestershire, garlic salt, lemon juice, and
cayenne, mix
well.
Form the cheese mixture into 2 balls and roll in the pecans
to cover completely. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate
for 1 to 2 hours or overnight. Serve with crackers.
