Boots in VA was asking about a Peach Cobbler recipe, really weird as I came across this from Nancy's Newsletter 8th July 2005:

Boots in VA was looking for a peach cobbler recipe where you do not prepare a crust. The following is a recipe I received from a vender at our farmer's market.
She was from Weatherford, TX.

Hi everyone again. Here I go again should have read the whole newsletter through before writing back. <g> To Boots in VA I am wondering if she might have used Bisquick for the peach cobbler. They have one on their web site, www.bisquick.com. that looks almost exactly like what you described.

Peach Cobbler

1 cup Original Bisquick mix
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 cup sugar
1 can (29 ounces) sliced peach, drained

Heat oven to 375?F. Stir together Bisquick mix, milk and nutmeg in ungreased square baking dish, 8x8x2 inches. Stir in butter until blended. Stir together sugar and peaches; spoon over batter.
Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until golden.
