Praline Pumpkin Pie
1/3 C. finely chopped pecans
3 T. butter
1/3 C. brown sugar
Combine and press into the bottom of a 9" unbaked pie crust.
Bake 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool 2 minutes.
Pumpkin Filling:
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 C. white sugar
1/2 C. brown sugar
1 T. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
2 C. canned pumpkin
12 oz. can evaporated milk
Combine eggs, sugars, flour, salt, and spices. Blend in
pumpkin. Gradually add milk.
Pour pumpkin filling into partially baked crust. Bake 350
degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted in
center comes out clean.
