This is a fast, easy and great tasting cookie. It cookie is very versatile in that you can add food coloring or nuts/ coconut/dried fruits for a more festive presentation for bridal/baby showers/weddings etc.

Italian Sugar Cookies

Cream:
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar

Add:
6 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp almond flavoring

Whisk together and add to above:
6 cups flour
2 Tbs baking powder

Using a tablespoon drop onto a lightly oiled cookie sheet 2 to 3 inches apart. Bake at 350 oven
for 10 minutes.

Note: You may opt to make a light frosting by mixing confectioner's sugar and water together
to make a watery glaze. Brush this glaze on the cookies and then top with the sprinkles for a
festive touch.

Also, this recipe may be cut in half but it is very popular once it is tasted.
