Cream Caramel Recipe for Susie in Illinois November 6, 2009 newsletter

This recipe I found in a microwave cookbook and it is good.

Caramel Sauce

1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream

In a microwave measuring cup, microwave margarine on high for 30 - 45 seconds to melt. Stir in sugar and cream. Microwave on high for 2 - 2 1/2 minutes, stirring once during cooking. Serve warm.
Makes 1 cup.
