For Terry who wanted
Ranch Dressing Pretzels
2 bags of hard pretzels
goldfish crackers or any other cracker
1/4 c. oil or a little more if you use crackers too
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Dill weed, dried
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 pkg. Ranch seasoning mix, dry
Break pretzels in bowl. Add oil and stir to coat pretzels
and other crackers, if you add them. Sprinkle ranch
dressing, dill weed, garlic powder to taste, mixing well.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 -20 minutes. My recipe says the
seasoned pretzels keep well in the freezer but I haven't
tried it.
For Betty who wanted to know how long to keep eggs.
Put the egg in a glass of water. If the egg floats it is
bad. Toss immediately. If the egg sinks and lays flat it is
fresh. The yolks do not have to be thoroughly cooked. If it
stands on it's end it is not as fresh but should be edible.
The egg should be thoroughly cooked.
