This is a soft cake-like cookie

Pineapple Cookies

1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup white sugar
1 cup butter
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups flour, sifted
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 #2 can crushed pineapple, drained(20 ounce)
1 cup chopped nuts
Cream butter, sugars, eggs & vanilla
Add flour, baking soda & pineapple alternately. Add nuts. Mix well. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet and bake @ 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes
Makes 5 dozen
