On July 26, Lauren wanted a recipe for chicken noodle soup.
Here's my favorite from Mary in MO.

Hearty Chicken Soup

1 lb. boneless chicken meat
1 small onion, diced
4 c. water
1 medium carrot, diced
3 chicken bouillon cubes
4 c. water
3 c. water
4 oz. egg noodles
1 medium stalk celery, diced
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. chopped parsley
1 tsp. salt

Place chicken in large kettle. Add 4 c. water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat & simmer until tender, about 30 minutes. Remove chicken from broth. Add 3 c. water & 3 bouillon cubes. Bring to a boil. Add celery, onion & carrot. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 10 to 12 minutes. Add 4 c. water. Bring to a boil. Add egg noodles, salt & pepper. Cook to a rolling boil until noodles are tender, about 7 to 9 minutes. Dice chicken & add to kettle with parsley. Simmer for 30 minutes. Makes 3 quarts
