8 Features That Good Birdhouses Have

Here are the top eight (in my opinion away) features that good birdhouses have:

1) Birdhouses that are painted in shades of tan, brown or grey.

2) Painted birdhouses that were painted from oil paints that are classified as safe for birdhouses - or latex paints (water based paints).

3) Birdhouses that have ventilation.

4) Birdhouses that have the ability to have the old nest removed.

5) Birdhouses with an entrance hole that is the right size. It should be the right size for the bird house design and the type of bird it wants to attract.

6) Birdhouses that offer protection from predators

7) Birdhouses that have drainage holes

8) Birdhouses that use suitable building materials for the birdhouse design

And that's it! Short and sweet.
