Anna who only has one Tbl. left of her Bisquick. Anna, here is a recipe to make your own! I posted it on Nancy?s message board some time ago for Sylvia who has a time looking for it, too. Perhaps this will help you till you get your new box?

Bisquick is a commercially packaged buttermilk baking mix. The two leading brand names we look for are Bisquick and Jiffy.

Also, Nancy has posted a recipe for homemade Bisquick for people who are unable to purchase the mix. This is posted under Bisquick on Nancy?s message board. (see below)

Bisquick Mix

8 Cups Flour
1 1/4 Cups Nonfat Dry Milk Powder
1/4 Cup Baking Powder
1 Tablespoon Salt
2 Cups Shortening

Combine flour, milk, baking powder, and salt in a very large bowl. Cut in shortening until it resembles coarse cornmeal. Store in tightly closed covered container in a cool place. Makes about 10 cups.
