Tomato Gravy
4 med. fresh tomatoes or 2 (16 oz.) crushed tomatoes
1/4 c. bacon grease
1 to 2 tbsp. flour or enough to thicken
Dash of black pepper
Heat bacon grease over medium heat until hot. Add flour,
stirring constantly until lightly browned. Add flour and
pepper and let come to a boil. Cover and let set for about 5
minutes. Can be served over rice or hot biscuits.
