Hi, Nancy:
In the Monday, July 7 newsletter Jolene in Oregon
wanted a recipe for a salad, and I think what she
tried was Southwest Salad. I have used this recipe
since 2002 and always have raves on it. Hope it is
what she needs.

Southwest Salad
1 pkg. (10 oz.) ready-to-serve salad greens
1 - 15-oz. can whole kernel corn, drained
1 - 15-oz. can black beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup ranch dressing
1/2 cup picante sauce
1 cup broken tortilla chips
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
Place greens in large salad bowl. Top with corn
and beans. In small bowl combine salad dressing
and picante sauce. Spoon over vegetables. Sprinkle
with tortilla chips, cheese, and tomatoes. Serve at
once.
Makes about 6 servings.
