Liver And Bacon With Vidalia Onions
*My Liver, bacon and onion recipe. (I know,
"Yuck," but some do like it. I do.*
2 pounds pork liver (beef is too tough and stringy)
3 large Vidalia onions
2 pounds thick bacon
1 cup flour
3 tablespoons butter (Yes butter! This is a very
high in cholesterol recipe people.)
milk
Wash liver in cold water, pat dry. Saut?onions in
butter until transparent, set aside. Fry bacon, reserve
drippings, drain on paper towel. Dip liver in flour, fry
5 mins on each side in bacon fat or until done. Place
on oven proof serving platter. Spoon onions over liver.
Top with bacon . Place in oven on warm or in crock pot
on warm to serve .Make sub sandwiches or serve as a
dinner. Enjoy.
